The role
We are seeking an experienced and high performing Strategic Account Executive to join our Enterprise Sales team.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the enterprise landscape. This role is a hybrid of high-level business development and strategic consulting. You will be responsible for a portfolio that includes high-stakes engagements, partnerships with leading FR corporates, large-scale media corporations, and established Fortune 500 companies operating in France.
This role is ideal for an experienced digital sales leader with a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth, navigating complex sales cycles, and cultivating deeper brand engagement.
What You'll Do
Strategic Revenue Growth & Business Development
Drive New Business: Build and expand a sustainable business pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and converting new enterprise opportunities. Take ownership of revenue targets, ensuring consistent growth through new logo acquisition.
Strategic Prioritization: Lead the identification and development of new market opportunities and sales strategies that align with long-term growth objectives within the EMEA region.
High-Value Closing: Expertly negotiate and close complex deals with senior decision-makers at brands, media and major multinational conglomerates.
Strategic Account Management & Retention
Relationship Mastery: Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with C-Suite executives and key stakeholders. Move beyond transactional sales to develop tailored solutions that drive both short-term campaign success and long-term brand loyalty.
Portfolio Ownership: Manage a diverse book of business across target verticals (Luxury, Retail, Media, Digital Publishing, Corporate, FMCG, etc.), ensuring alignment across all delivery teams to maximize client satisfaction and revenue retention.
Forecasting, Planning & Operations
Pipeline Management: Own the sales pipeline end-to-end. Proactively report on progress using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), identify potential roadblocks, and deliver accurate revenue forecasts to leadership.
Go-To-Market Strategy: Help lead the national go-to-market strategy for high-value clients. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to align resources, develop sales initiatives, and close deals that meet company requirements.
Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and internal data to drive strategic decisions tailored to the local market nuances.
Leadership & Brand Representation
Thought Leadership: Represent the company in high-level industry events, panels, and conferences to elevate our brand and establish yourself as a thought leader within the French digital space.
Mentorship & Culture: Be a driving force in maintaining a positive, collaborative culture. Mentor junior team members, share expertise, and contribute to the overall growth of the sales organization.
Requirements:
Experience: 8+ years of proven success in enterprise sales, digital media, or SaaS, with a specific focus on driving significant revenue growth and building long-term relationships with Broadcasters, Media and Digital Publishers.
Network: An established network of high-level relationships within the advertising, entertainment, and media industries (particularly within the French market and client-direct/agency channels).
Closing Expertise: A track record of exceeding sales quotas and delivering measurable impact through negotiation expertise. Proven experience closing deals with large multinational corporations is highly desirable.
Strategic Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, shape strategic conversations, and convey complex concepts in a compelling way.
Language Skills: Native French speaker with C2 level English. (Fluency in a third European language (e.g., Spanish, German, Italian) is a plus.)
Operational Excellence: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales stack software (Ironclad, Jira, etc.).
Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills. Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior executives.
Mentality: A self-starter with a "startup mentality": you are agile, resilient, and passionate about building business from the ground up.
